Role & Responsibilities

Successful Candidate Must have national soft drink brand experience.

High level of energy required as well as the willingness to work non-standard hours, including
nights and weekends when needed, primarily for customer entertainment.  Must possess the
ability and drive to identify and acquire new business; additionally, must be able to work
independently and in a team environment, all with the goal of achieving positive results. Also
requires a high level of accountability and excellent communication and follow-up skills.

Account Management
Primary Role – Acquisition of new accounts in the At Work channel
Primary Customers –Accounts in these channels, including Hospitals
Southwest metro area call base
Proficiency in customer development; including cold calling, sales presentations, and contract
implementation
Time Management
Plan weekly calls on customer with a specific desired outcome on each call
Results Oriented – must achieve sales volume and gross margin goals
Must acquire new accounts from target list


Business Reviews Internal & External
Focus on results – Increasing sales volume and gross profit
By account and entire channel
Ability to analyze data as well as develop cash flows and presentations with recommendations
to profitably acquire new full-line vending customers
Identify gaps in account performance and suggest/implement action plan to course correct in
a timely fashion
Perform a minimum of a quarterly review for all accounts

National Account Manager
Successful candidate will have fully cooked meat sales experience.
Some exposure to soups would be helpful.

Regional Managers
REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE VP OF SALES
Successful Candidate will have major soft drink brand experience

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
To plan and manage the effectiveness of both the home and cold drink
markets and to take maximum advantage of all the sales potential within the
framework of company policies. The Regional Manager must assume
responsibility for the developmental process for individuals throughout the
organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Insure the office/administrative staff is adequately staffed and trained
to support Sales Management and allow for the proper amount of
‘in-trade’ time required of them.
Insure the delivery of accurate and timely KBI information to Sales
Management. Office staff should compile as much of the required KBI
information as possible, with only the most minimal time investment by
Sales Management, to allow for the proper amount of time in trade.
Project and expand all markets to their maximum potential.
In conjunction with the supervisors, monitor and project personnel and
equipment needs in response to changing business conditions.
Insure that training materials are available and training sessions are
being conducted for sales/delivery personnel and their supervisors.
Maintain close and effective communications with supervisors to
facilitate cooperation between departments at all levels.
Develop and implement promotional programs for both the home and cold
markets.
Coordinate with management on budget development and allocation.
Develop and manage incentive programs to be used during special emphasis
periods.
Handle any complaints effectively and efficiently.
As a part of management, enhance the image of the company and its
products to all employees, customers and consumers.
Insure that key account calls are made on a regularly scheduled basis.
Insure that distribution operates at a high level of efficiency and
effectiveness.
Personally spot-check home and cold drink accounts and advise the
respective supervisors on needed improvements/changes.
Hold periodic sales meetings to insure that all personnel are kept
advised of company policies, objectives.
Review weekly/monthly activity reports submitted by supervisors to
determine if performance standards are being met.
Complete any other assignments or responsibilities as defined by
management on a daily or continued basis.

Plant Manager
Successful candidate will have process Meat experience.

POSITION PURPOSE:
Oversee the development and implementation of maintenance practices to efficiently
maintain the operation of the plant equipment, grounds, building, and production processes.
Insure that the Engineering Department personnel have all of the tools necessary to maintain
the facility and processes in a sustaining manner. This is to include knowledge, training, and
physical items to be successful. Maintain a working relationship with outside contractors and
vendors to insure that new work proceeds efficiently. Lead and direct the work of direct reports
in order to operate closely and cohesively with the other departments within the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. Develop the layout of plant processing lines to facilitate changes
or additions to plant operations. Coordinate the planning and construction of plant additions or
modifications. Ensure that all safety and regulatory policies and procedures are implemented
and maintained at all times. Maintain the compliance with all OSHA regulations. Develop and
oversee implementation of the Capital and Expense Budget projects. Insure that the issues
encountered in the day to day operation of the facility are addressed in a constructive and
orderly manner. Communicate and interact openly with senior management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the assigned duties of the Engineering Department Assistant Managers as well as their
direct reports. Contract and supervise all outside contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of an Associates degree or the equivalent in experience with knowledge in the
electrical and mechanical field. Five years of management experience in manufacturing,
preferably in the meat industry. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, State Mechanical
Contractor’s License

Director of Sales

PRIMARY  FUNCTION:
Responsible for establishing, coordinating and managing sales  either personally or through
subordinate supervisors in accordance with  Company  policies and sound business practices to
create an effective sales organization, which consistently services our customers at very high
levels.  Ensure business plans are achieved and grow profit and consumption in the
marketplace.  Maintains a high level of focus on the revenue driving side of the business while
keeping expenses under control and within acceptable limits.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
Implements strategic plans designed to achieve company goals for purpose of increasing sales
volume and revenue.  Ensures budgetary guidelines are adhered to.
Ensures implementation of sales strategies either personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Directs segment development activities and coordinates sales distribution by establishing
territories, routes and goals.
Responsible for forecasting sales volume and monitoring sales and service operating budget.
Meets with key customers, assisting his/her managers with maintaining relationships, negotiating
and closing deals.
Administers Public Relations.
Responsible for Sales Forecasting used in development of Production Schedules.
Identifies, plans and implements cost savings ideas within the Sales and Service Departments.  
Plans and holds departmental meetings.
Directs staffing, training, coaching activities, and performance evaluations to develop and
control sales and service programs.
Ensure safety policies and procedures are being met in compliance with local, state and
federal Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Ensuring that the sales team upholds the product quality standards of the Company.
Other duties as assigned.

Travel may be necessary.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with the orientation of new employees and education and training of staff as required.
Assists with the development and implementation of worthwhile programs for regular staff
meetings.

Service Manager.
